Ingredients

  • 400 g Penne pasta
  • 6 Italian sausages
  • 2 cans Chopped tomatoes
  • 250 g Mozzarella
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 50 g Parmesan

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 190°C.

    Cook the penne in salted boiling water until just al dente, then drain.

    Remove the sausage meat from the skins and brown it in a large frying pan.

    Add chopped onion and cook until softened before stirring in garlic.

    Pour in the chopped tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes until rich and thickened.

    Combine the cooked pasta with the sausage sauce.

    Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with torn mozzarella and grated parmesan.

    Bake for 20 minutes until bubbling and golden on top.

    Allow to cool slightly before serving.
