Mexican street-style tacos filled with marinated grilled steak, onions and fresh coriander.

Preparation

Ingredients

  • 600 g Steak
  • 8 Corn tortillas
  • 2 Lime
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 handful Coriander
  • 1 White onion
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Instructions

    In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, paprika and lime juice to create the marinade.

    Coat the steak thoroughly and leave to marinate for at least 20 minutes.

    Heat a griddle pan or barbecue until very hot.

    Cook the steak for 3–5 minutes per side depending on thickness and desired doneness.

    Allow the steak to rest before slicing it thinly against the grain.

    Warm the corn tortillas in a dry frying pan.

    Fill the tortillas with sliced steak, finely chopped onion and fresh coriander.

    Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
