Japanese stir-fried noodles with vegetables in a savoury yakisoba sauce.

Preparation

Ingredients

  • 400 g Yakisoba noodles
  • 200 g Cabbage
  • 1 Carrot
  • 3 Spring onions
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
Cooking

Instructions

    Cook the noodles according to packet instructions and drain well.

    Heat sesame oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat.

    Add garlic, sliced carrot and shredded cabbage and stir-fry for several minutes until softened slightly.

    Add the noodles to the pan and toss thoroughly with the vegetables.

    In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce together.

    Pour the sauce over the noodles and stir-fry until evenly coated.

    Add sliced spring onions and cook for another minute.

    Serve immediately while hot.
